I see. Not too sure how many will transfer out. If the parents are keen to transfer, they should call the school now to ask to be placed on the waitlist and to find out the procedure.

Hmmmm, they do focus on both academics and Chinese culture and values.

Efforts are made to help the academically weaker kids to excel as much as possible. For example, classes for the P5 and P6 foundation classes are smaller, nearly half in the number of students compared to the other classes, based on last yr's class distribution.

From what I understand, the kids are streamed based on their academic strengths into P3, P4 and P5 classes so also cannot relac, relac :evil:

It's a 2-way communication during PTM. During the PTM this yr, I met the Eng tr in dd1's classroom, chi tr in the hall and the maths tr in another class. It's compulsory for the child to attend the session with the parent.

Experienced parents pls share. Teachers for P1 move up with the kids to P2. After that, do they stay with the same class name when they move back to P1? or is there a big wind blow?


DS2 is going to P1 next year, I’m curious if he will have the current teacher for that class name.

of course not.. i am worried if it happens. then we will have a 'class' behavior, no good in the long run of things.
