      Anyone can advise me ?
How much Won do we need to bring for 7D 5night in Korea .. For basic expenses like meals and Tpt ?

if u are joining tour, u should ask which meals are provided before u calculate on that..

      my calculation is :

      each day :
      - breakfast SGD10
      - lunch SGD20
      - dinner SGD30
      - snack SGD10
      - transport SGD15
      - admission fee to places of interest SGD25

      total each day is SGD110
7 days SGD770 + SGD200 for buffer or extra expenses..

the balance will from the estimate will be used to buy goodies for my relatives and friends..

if your hotel provides bfast, u can save on that. i’m sure u wont eat expensive food every meal so give & take some.

as for transport, u can get their T-money card (aka our mrt card) which saves 100 won on every trip compare to those single trip fare.

u can also print out discount coupons from korean tourism website as they may have some discount on tourist sightseeing places. Otherwise just drop by their tourist centre which is easily available at most tourist spots. they normally will have discount vouchers for tourists.

Mummychia, T-money has some deposits. I can't remember if you can get the deposits or balance money in the card back. Btw, you can purchase students' fare at the counter for students below 12. Ask for \"cho deng (初等 学生) hak seng\" Show your kids. 😉 If you don't find it too troublesome to ask.

Tmoney doesn’t need any deposit, just buy the card at 2500 won & top up. For refund, a 500 won will be deducted as admin fee, balance will then be refunded.
Yes there’s child fare but nt for tourists using Tmoney. We have to buy single fare ticket to enjoy child fare, abit troublesome & time consuming actually but can save quite a fair bit if travel a lot.

                  Dear all,

Due to my work commitment, I always can only travel with dh n ds during non peak period. There are pros n cons to it. We had went to Seoul f&e during march. That was our first trip. Abit blur blur even till nw. When we were there end march, there were still snow in the mountain, according to the local dmz tour guide. Pple were still able to ski. So this time ,dh n I planning to go next yr end march again, but target to snow mountain. But I need advices please. Which is the good one with resort that can accommodate to my 5 yr old boy needs? Easy access from airport? To seoul again after? Itinery recommend pls?He specific said he wan to go back Korea to make snow man. In another one n half yr he will go P1, so with my wk schedule, I shall beta do this next yr. Thanks in advance.

my 7 yr old also wants to go korea n play with snow. i going in dec but wil nt be going skiiing.. instead will go snow sledding at seoulland sledding hills, supia park ttukseom resort n everland. my boy says the ski equipment r heavy n skiing looks scary so he prefers to go sledding instead. if not going skiing, u can try that out..

Thanks. That's is wat I m thinking as well. Jus that I ve no idea where to go. Pls update me abt the place when u r back. R u on f&e or package tour? If u r on f&e pls share ur itinery. Many thanks.
