over the long weekend… i finally got to taste the everyone-say-good egg tarts from tong heng… parked at maxwell carpark and walk over to buy and ate in car…

i must say, the egg is really soft… nice to eat while it is hot and fresh…

we went at 6plus 7… no discount at all, $1.40 each…

my dh also bought the curry chicken puff, that, i must say, is EVEN nicer…

i’m not an egg-person… i dare not eat cheese while i was young, it was after my pregnancy and all that i started eating cheese… i can eat them now, but too much… for the soft egg tart from tong heng, i must say i dare not eat it when it is cold… it is little "jelat" in my opinion…

I was around the vinicity this late afternoon.

I find the egg tarts very shiny n the size is kinda too big, did not give me a \"die die must eat\" feeling.

Another egg tart I want to recommend is the Japanese style from the bakery at Shaw Isetan.

one issue is the size, too much at one go, better to cut into half n enjoy the other half at an later hour.

It is not exactly a tart, more like a cup.
