      Buds,

      You are welcome.
It is scary to think that four 'A's can only yield a 220s. Risky if you are trying for 230s school. It can also yield 240 in some cases. That's why a weak subject makes a lot of difference. Some one pointed out earlier.

      Janet,
Thanks for the heads up on Imm woods.
Yes jedamum, scary indeed. :nailbite: That's why I don't think about that. πŸ˜‰ Yet. πŸ˜‚

I'm more geared towards consistency of revision with ultimately a strong grasp of concept mastery and application technique. Especially since a good memory is not what dd is blessed with (apart from those gazillion pop songs that she can store up in that brain bank of hers.) so must monitor even after mapping out the work to carry out with her. πŸ˜“

If I am anal abt those numbers now, I don't think I can help her objectively or.... patiently. :politebleah: I'm also hoping by writing/blogging about the process towards preparing for PSLE, I could also look back and reflect which ones worked and which didn't. Following that, I see that I already have a template I can follow thru or improvise to see myself thru another 3 PSLEs.

      πŸ™

Buds, your dd2 is very matured, she will surely be self motivated. Your boys can seek help from jie jies next tim,e too. It is usually the first major exam of the first born that makes us panic.

Yes jedamum, we are blessed that our DD2 is motivated so half our battle is won. By the time the boys are gonna do their psle I think the two jiejies wanna wash their hands off liao. πŸ˜‚ That's why I suppose having a template to start off my 1st time would be good for me. Panicking? Who's panicking? :rotflmao:

Janet_lee88.. yes you're right, if both languages are relatively strong, better to boost up the entire score. :xedfingers:

Friend's daughter got 2 A* for English and Chinese...that pulled up the overall. But then, Math and Science has to be in the A range.

slmkhoo, you are fortunate that you had alternatives but for us who don't we just make good of what we can derive from the system.. work around it. πŸ˜‰
