School Policy : MC on exam day

Poor Buds. Take care. I think no point worry so much about exams. Just let the school do whatever adjustment they want. HEALTH is more important than marks!
My DS’s school has very clear exam policy. No re-test too. The subject that the child missed will be reported as "NA" on the report book if mc is produced. I supposed some adjustment to previous exams will be made to calculate the final combined score.

My son's school doesn't have re-tests for SAs. Last year he missed sitting for the EL SA2 paper, so the grade was calibrated up to CA2.buds:

Looks like a lot of schools is going the easy way out… no retest, no marking, no scheduling, no planning… no stress…

DD's school stated very clearly what are the papers that can be taken at an alternative date and which ones cannot. DS's school no, info at all.
Is it still possible for your DD to get the exam script? If possible, she can bring it back and take the test at home. The results may not go into her report card but at least she will still be able to see how she fare and her effort will not go to waste.

after reading all the comments here, buds jie, i think different schools different policy... and just because they work differently, u should be able to \"appeal\" ur request to re-test..
Precisely verykiasumummy... I'm feeling very troubled now because just received text from teacher that there's NO RE-TEST. And she said it has always been a school policy. I have good relationship with the school and the teachers but this...?
So I'm trying to garner feedback from you guys to see how I should proceed.
let them know how much effort ur dd has put in and it will be a real disappointment for her if there is no re-test. and it is not her fault to get sick... please them... they should give in...

Major National exam, better to admit to the hospital. The invigilator will be attending.
