Okay, how's this for spooks.


Sometime this time last year, my gal lost one side of her croc. Till this day, we didn't know where it could have gone. Our deduction is that we lost it at the restaurant car park when she was struggling with sleep and whining when I picked her up.

Just this morning, as we were heading out of the house, we ran over a small croc the same colour. So I made DH reverse the car and picked it off the road. Lo and behold! It was her missing croc, even the bitz are identical. Her favourite Dora and another butterfly! :shock: :shock: :!:

So we backtracked and I went home with it and placed it squarely in her hands - her yelp of joy said it all! Her Croc was found...only thing is we've thrown out the other side coz we couldn't find this one.

Now, the bigger mystery is HOW DID IT HAPPEN?! :?:

Okay, how's this for spooks...

This reminds me of an anecdote of how Mahatma Gandhi dropped a sandal as he got onto a moving train. Instead of getting the train to stop, he took off his remaining sandal and throw it at the spot where he dropped the first one. When asked why he did so, he simply said that he wanted the person who found the first sandal to have a complete pair he can wear.

Actually we wanted to do that and even called up the restaurant when it happened.


How did this missing one find its way back is the BIG mystery...couldn't have gotten stuck to the bottom of the car or something - and FOR ONE YEAR ?

Hee hee, no, jedamum...the restaurant car park is near vivo city...the place that we found the croc is just downstairs at the intersection of our short street and the trunk (not main) road. :!: :!:

Cannot remember le... during my teen days. Did u go to Harris?[/quote]No, it was fully booked. Went to the one very near to the Golden Prawn Restaurant, only 5mins walk. The hotel environment is not bad but no shopping around (if you are the type that must shop, shop, shop). :lol:

If I go overseas, must have shopping.


And I always must stay in good ratings hotel for security purpose.

I will always ring the bell before I enter the room, flush the water down the toilet bowl, and will always leave the toilet light on when I sleep at night.

I will take the middle room, not too near the lift but not too far off too.
