tks. the classes gd?
ds2 does not like Chinese and tried a few home tutors & centres. He likes attending classes at Xuelin and wants to continue. He is weak in Chinese and getting average around 60s. -

Absolutely! My P3 has done very well, above 90! I am very pleased.
More importantly, Xuelin knows how to motivate the children. My kids enjoy their classes, especially the K2.

just to share: P3 son joined xuelin only in jun. didnt do well in final exams this year, compo 9/20. cant blame the school, cos’ he only joined for half a yr plus i went thru the notes and they were really good. but perhaps above my son’s standard. at the end of the day, grades didnt improve, fees too ex, so i will withdraw him and put him back in a cheaper enrichment centre.

My son in P5 joined Xuelin in June this year for the writing class. Only got 26/40 for compo. Same as SA1 before Xue Lin. Thinking of withdrawing him but dont know where else to put him…

I think it’s tough to expect visible improvements for languages within a few short months. It really takes time to strengthen the foundation for languages.
The only person I’ve read who is so effective is some EL tutor at the tuition thread. But even then, it’s intensive (a few times a week) lessons across one year. -

Agreed with you. Personally, I also find that it is important to build up the foundation for kids on the languages earlier.I think it's tough to expect visible improvements for languages within a few short months. It really takes time to strengthen the foundation for languages.
