I cannot stand waiting any longer or scrutinise son's face...maybe I will be like reporters...'excuse me excuse me' to squeeze my way in :rotflmao:

But I think releasing of results would be done in the hall....every year you see
newspapers and all the P6s are all in the hall.
        😆

We parents are also concerned and worried although nothing can be done...if this long wait can churn out magic, I don't mind. In the meantime, kids have to start doing something...or else they will be too stoned to start sec 1. Agree?

Just want the results to be released, get it over and done with. The wait is nerve-wrecking…

Post-PSLE, the plan was for dd to play to her heart’s content until school reopens. But I think she’s bored out of her mind. Proves that there can be too much of a good thing. She’s literally drooling with envy when she’s sees classmates’ Math enrichment / sec 1 prep class worksheets. She’s itching to try her hands on the worksheets and has been bugging me to sign her up for Math classes too.

Is it too late to sign up for any holiday classes now? Anyone has any good recommendation for centres in the North-east?

She's literally drooling with envy when she's sees classmates' Math enrichment / sec 1 prep class worksheets. She's itching to try her hands on the worksheets and has been bugging me to sign her up for Math classes too.

Read more? Do crafts = Christmas is coming, so she can make presents and cards. Baking? Again, Christmas is a good excuse to make cookies and cakes. I don't see a necessity to take classes unless there is a good one that's convenient. I personally don't like my kids to do work in advance of school, so I usually channel their energy to doing other things. If they are really interested in academic work (they usually aren't!), they can borrow books from the library and read up on a topic of interest.

Same here. I would rather she spend the hols recharging and doing something fun.

Art & craft is a defintely no no for my dd, unfortunately. She dislikes art & craft with a vengeance and the thought of doing all that would be a nightmare for her.

She's been reading (a lot), hanging out with friends, resumed her piano and ballet lessons after a hiatus during PSLE. I even asked if she wants to take up any short courses at the cc near our place. But she's got her heart set on Math classes. Just the thought of it fills her with excitement. Mummy here also cannot comprehend....

What's done is already done. Let's all hope for the best and play to our heart's content while the results are yet to be released. All the best to everyone! 😄

                        Alarmchain:
Not sure if this question has been asked and answered before. Does anyone know a score of 250 roughly translates to the ?% of the cohort?

I do understand that it depends on the overall score of each cohort but just a rough gauge, as in the range from the past few years .... 15% to 20% ....... 20% to 25% ......?

                        Just curious.

                        Thanks.

I think it is probably the top 15% to 20%. As far as I know the top 10% will be offered a category of 3rd Lang like French, Jap and German. Last year my GF's DD got 256 but was not offered these. Again, I am not 100% sure. Then again, 250 is already a very good score.
