This \"Adventures with The Young Scientists (Level 4)\" was bought by many parents like us because we thought that it was YS. Because of this disloyalty, the distributionship was terminated from 2013 onwards due to disloyalty and conflict of interests!

I thought level 4 is also young scientist because they named it level 4. Chey, so misleading!

Anyway, after gathering my kids' feedback (I didn't ask them for feedback till I received the renewal form :siam: ) my kids didn't enjoy level 4, told me need not renew subscription for 2013.

I am very confused. So level 4 is not worth buying? Is level 3 too easy for p5 pupils?

Level 3 is very easy to understand. My dd2 has been reading level 3 since k2, because I subscribed for dd1. To her, it's just comics.

According to my dd1, level 4 has a lot of big words and she finds it boring.
When I asked dd1 if she wish to revert to level 3 for 2013, she also said no need, she's switching over to reader's digest, more interesting.

Not comparing like to like though, totally different kind of magaines. Well, she is the one reading so I leave it to her šŸ˜‰

I saw the new magazines at popular yesterday. I asked the staff there and they said young scientist is now science adventure.. I almost bought.. Hmm, meaning they did not change their name and they are different??

I was almost fooled too but luckily decided to check first. SA is not renaming of YS but is another mag altogether. The SA sold at Popular is only 8 issues and is \"export\" set and cost around S$48.

                        Hihi,

I did not subscribe to the young scientist 2012.. Any idea how I can get the full set? I used to get them at popular but now they only carry the new ones šŸ˜ž
I emailed youngscientistsreader.com.sg and they replied will keep me posted once the whole 2012 set is available for retail. They are currently preparing to send issue #122. I also used to buy whole past set from Popular until I got a shock it's no longer available there and replaced by SA.
