      Hi all,

Today we drove past the school n DS say that he saw his P1 teacher is along the road - maybe traffic Marshall. Asked him what’s her name - he said don’t know : we can also call ‘teacher’…
I asked him did he make friends - he said he hello to his neighbour but the person just pointed the front!!
But I really like their system as queue is not long.

Your son is the Knight 17. 🙂

Yes! We can discuss about our kids n the school. 🙂 Hope that the rest of the parents can join in too.

When will the school let us know the FT? Do you know if they will update us any info nearer to start date of school?

We registered in phase 2B. I also wonder how they arrange the classes.

          Hi Cmum,

I c, afternoon class is a bit tricky. I can think of only muesli bars, buns, cake or muffins. I give my DS packed UHT milk since can’t give them fresh milk. Hope this help.

          Hi Lowym,

I think the school will likely firm up the teacher during school holiday. I am also wondering if they will inform us. But I see that most teachers in TGPS are very friendly so whoever the teacher is, I think the kids should still have wonderful time at school :-).

Have you all bought your textbooks, uniforms and shoes? We resisted doing that on orientation day since DS1 was not with us that day. Hehe. Will bring both boys back to get their new gear and books sometime in December.

            Hi Rejoice

Glad to know that most of the teachers are the friendly sort.

We got all the stuff yday, including the school bag from the book store. Ha.
How heavy will the school bag be, what type of books do they need go bring? Cos I wonder if the school bag that I bought is ok.

Hi mummies, I was actually surprised that my DD said she was not required to do any writing or coloring on the orientation day. I thought they would do some sort of worksheet.

                Hi lowym,

Most time, the students will keep their workbooks at school. So they don’t really need to bring lots of books. Not until just weeks before term test, they will bring back their workbooks, folders home for revision. I think a normal school bag is good enough. However, I bought an Impact Ergo bag during Metro year end sale at a very good price. So I let DS use it instead and these bags last longer. I heard the Impact bag is on sale again now at Metro so parents can go check out if interested.

                Hi Beauty,

I tried to ask DS2 what he did in the classroom but he was too engrossed in the comic book so I could not get anything out of him ;-). Will try again tomorrow when I have his full attention. Haha. But Ds2 seemed to be quite happy when we picked him up from the class so I think whatever it is, he enjoyed it :-).

                  Hi all,

I am new to this forum. My DS will also be going to P1 next year. He is in 1Hope and is looking forward to it.

I also hope I will be able to know more Mummies here and gain more knowledge.

                      Hi all n welcome deskibi,

So far we got P1 mummies reporting from Aspire, Bravery and Hope (highest entries :)).
Many kindergartens are done with their graduation last week but my DS childcare only just took their photos 2 weeks ago and still practising their dance....

                        Hi Ninjago,

When is your son’s graduation day?

My gal had just taken her graduation photo around 2 weeks ago too and her graduation day is on 15/12.
