        Hi Champion,

Any recommendation for P1/P2 comprehension assessments where there are more inference kind of questions? Rather than those more straight forward kind of answers….

        Thanks!

Guess you are looking at something more challenging for your child(ren) 😄 I have not used the following but friend who did, recommend and said it challenges and prepares her son who is going P1 next year.

                Hi HappyH.

                Try this.

                http://englishforeveryone.org/

It has a wide array of exercises at different levels. USA school levels and Singapore are the same P1 = G1, P6 = G6, and S1 = G7 and so on.

Your son did better than my girl already. Mine always get about 1-3 out of 10 only...:( Really not sure how to help her. Have been asking her to read more but she just cant think of any word to fill in the blank. When she was told her answer, then she will say 'orhhhhhh, ya hor...' sigh.

need to read several times...along the way have to detect hints.
                    read up phrasal verbs.

Thanks Janet. Will get her to read up from the web.

Yes, it's a very good website... Thanks a lot.. I wonder whether anyone knows this kind of website that teach Chinese rules e.g. when making sentences, how to transform direct speech into indirect speech and how to use certain words ?

                        Hi Village Girl,

I'm presently using Cloze Practice to revise with my daughter. Why don't you take a look at it ? It's published by Marshall Cavendish.

For grammar cloze, it can be improved because I see phrasal verbs can be memorized. No choice.
