KKH apologises for baby swap incident
-
If one really insists to do that (run out with two), just make sure get really cute one. The other stuff cannot tell.

SAHM_TAN:
I also could not recognize my newborns. Like you, I don't have the face recognition gene. My babies were wrinkled like pups, eyes closed most of the time and looked like most of the other babies swathed tightly in the nursery. There were no distinguishing marks or features. So I only counted fingers and toes. :rotflmao:I can't differentiate :rotflmao: My babies doesnt have birthmarks lor or really any outstanding features for me to latch on. Maybe I'm just too blur :rotflmao: So I make sure I scruntised the tags. After the nurse put the tags on the bb, the nurse also showed me my tagged bb heehee
I better suggest to my kids, in case they inherit my recognition challenged genes, to bring along a non-toxic inked stamp and chop in their babies buttocks :rotflmao: -
ChiefKiasu:
Kekeke I checked my kiddo, out of curiosity. Ok, this one sure mine - he looked just like me when I was small.... I can't run away, want to say this not my kid also nobody believe!JJ1111:
some cases maybe unnoticed.
Think of it also feel scary. :nailbite:
I won't worry too much. If it does happen, there are usually at least 4 pairs of eyes to spot the mistake quickly. Both sets of parents. So yes, your child is probably YOUR child
Anyway, wherever we go, people say he looks like me. So well... He is mine. -
Imp75:
My hubby says if it happens, we will just accept it, our child has been with us for 8 years, so what if it is a mistake, the child will forever be our child, nothing should change this.
I wanted to say something like this earlier but decided to skip the \"submit\" button...
Yup, I was thinking - so what if this one at home is not mine own flesh and blood? It won't change how I feel about him. After four years, he is mine child through and through. And for him, I am his mum. The only thing that changes is - I would always be thinking about that baby whom I have given birth to...how is he doing? Where is he? Are his parents loving him like I love this one at home? -

:rotflmao: :rotflmao: I wonder how that pirate we are familiar will react to this?
Are you pirate ?phtthp:
after this incident, anything can happen ...
what if you give birth to twins but later discharged with 1 child missing, because the other child is ... stolen by crime syndicate (sell babies, someone disguised as nurse able to sneak into the baby nursery room) ? -
Imami:
Same thoughts. Will continue to love the one at home but will always be wondering about the one out there.Imp75:

umm, sorry to break the bubble, but I recall distinctly that the nursery door is locked. have to find something to break down the door first.
Then you run into the nursery, grab a baby and yell \"Don't care. I gave both to two and I'm leaving with two!!!!!\" Then run out.jtoh:

details details....[/quote]Darn! Must lie in wait for the nurses to open the door and dash in. And yes, must choose the cutest one - preferably with double eyelids, sharp nose and two dimples. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: -

kidnapping carries the death penalty in Singapore. -
Aiyah, joking only. One has to remember for the baby carried away, another mother is going to grieve. Saw I. Papers that the two babies looked quite similar and were about same size and weight. Happy that they are now reunited and I’m sure new parents will be assured that the staff there will take every means possible to ensure this don’t happen again.
Recall when I had my first in KKH, the rules wasn’t so rigid. I was able to enter the nursery in the dead of night and learnt from the nurse there how to calm DS down. Now I don’t think anyone besides staff can step in there. Amazing to see so many cuties there. But I didn’t touch the other babies la…must zidong a bit. -
