One of my fave bread - focaccia. I improvise from my Italian bread recipe by adding Italian herbs, cheese powder & garlic powder.

My white bread taste like white bread and the texture is excellent just the way I like it - soft n moist .

I hv an oven. Do I add the ham n cheese after taking the dough at the first beep ? Wat kind of cheese and ham n how hot is the oven how long is the baking time ? Yup I m going to try the sweet bun recipe tomorrow !! Yippee.

Ohh I m getting excited in baking bread n loooking forward to tomorrow more baking. Already forgotten about thurs. haha. Baking is good destress therapy.
        So happy for you! :rahrah:
If you use oven to bake then just use the bread machine to make the dough. Remember don't select the full cycle juz use the dough function. Put in the ingredients as per BM sequence. Then once dough done powder off the bread machine(assume u using the dough function up to proofing stage).
Take out the dough, divide into balls. If you want all same size, then use weighing machine to weight each dough ball. Then shape the individual dough to your desired shape. Put ham & cheese on the dough or you can put them inside, up to you. I normally use picnic ham or shoulder ham & cut into half if too big. If ham is on top of dough i will use those stripes type of cheddar cheese to sprinkle on the top of ham & dough.

            Thank you flowermonaster!!

I m so happy too. Hv shelved the bm for nearly a year coz the end product was not palatable then. Now I m confident to use it. At time of purchase bm was intended to bake bread without preservative for Dc. Now can continue with my venture.

How to make sausage bread ? How do we stuff the sausage inside after baking. I presume sausage need not baked ?

I don't stuff sausage inside after baking. I will roll the dough ball into long stripe long enough to coil round the sausage, you get what I mean? Then egg wash the dough after proofing & into the oven.

At wat temp do you heat the oven ?[/quote]proofing is to let the dough raise. Egg wash is to brush the dough with beaten egg. I normally use 180degC. Must preheat the oven first before put in the bread. My oven is slow so I normally will check my bread after 30mins, if still not nicely brown I will bake another 10min & check again.

                        Char Siew filling
                        1/2 tbsp oil
                        2 shallots, flatten
                        200g char Siew, diced
1 1/2 tbsp roasted sesame seeds

                        Seasoning (mix together)
                        80ml water
                        1 tbsp light soya sauce
                        1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
                        1/2 tsp dark soya sauce
                        1 1/2 tbsp sugar
                        1/2 tbsp tapioca flour
                        1/2 tbsp corn flour
                        1 tsp plain flour

                        Method
Heat oil on medium heat, sauté the shallots til fragrant. Discard the fried shallot.
Pout in the mixed seasoning, immediately stir the mixture as it boils. Keep storing until thicken. Takes about few seconds. Add char Siew dices, sesame seeds & mix well. Dish up & leave to cool before use. The finished mixture should dry up & sticky for easy wrapping.
