      dyh:

I am not sure how useful are the SC text books. My sons never read them at home. Not sure if the teachers go thru them in school too.
Is that why those books are optional?
      Mrsbongz:
Erm, i went ahead n bought them.. I thought LA meant learning-assisted students. Btw prices for several of the bks are not fixed yet, so not available for sale. Quite mafan
That's a new term for me. Actually I'm thinking shouldn't weaker students be given more materials for support? It's like hungrier pple getting less food. Die lah, I'm starting to sound like Janet. ๐Ÿฆ†

Thx for the info. In that case, I'll only order in mid-Dec and hopefully can get all at one go.

In the book list for P3, there's this section labelled Science LA (optional). Now we all know what's HA, but what's LA. It cant be Low Ability rite? issit that terribly rude? (Joking only I know it's not)

Old birds pls enlighten so that I will know whether to skip or buy. Thx
Whatever the term LA means, I think the content of the Sci textbooks is not really too lousy.
