Anyone knows how are the results distributed to the schools? Do P wait at MOE like q to see rock star or by email then print on pre assigned slip bearing the moe logo ?

4.5 hours more to go, just wondering.
One parent told me that in her DS school, the Principal will present the slip to the top scholars in school. Subsequently, the children went back to the class to collect the slip.

According to MOE, they'll not be listing the top scholars this year. So am not sure whether the school will still be doing so.

Without this basic statistic how are we going to know how well our kid fare in this national exam ? Unless they implement something like ICAS, give a chart to indicate where the kid stands. Else everything will be in the dark ... :?

Is it important to have this piece of information? The score of the child and past yr's COP, these infor is not enough to make a good decision on what are the 6 schools to indicate on the form?

It serves as a guide when submit your choice of school after knowing your result wat. You dun want to submit in the way that none of the choice comes true and get posted to a school you may not want.[/quote]My DS has decided to use the top student in school as the guide to see how well he fare. Lucky this boy is in his class, so he can check with him if the school did not make the announcement.

The schools probably receive the results in the morning and some will call up their school’s top scorer to give them the good news ahead of 12pm. Last time the call may also pre-empt the parents to dress nice nice for interviews but this year onwards top scorers nationwide will not be announced. So wishing some of you will receive the school’s top scorer call.

To all KSP PSLE parents, your kids have been marvelous to cross this PSLE bridge. Accept whatever results they get, give them credit for their efforts. If we ourselves go through PSLE, we may not even hit the same scores which you will see later on their result slip. All the best to all!

All the students have to wear their school uniforms today...how to dress nice nice? Ok lah, maybe for girls comb your hair neatly and make sure teeth are sparkling white. If the boy is a top scorer, then put some hairspray and look spunky.

If I had to take my PSLE again, I will fail miserably.
So, we should remind ourselves that the PSLE path is no walk in the park at all. Give our kids our utmost unconditional love and credit for their hard work and perserverance. :rahrah: :rahrah:
