Hi,

I need some advice. DS got 250+1.
Would this be enough for an IP programme? Any school to recommend?

It seems 250+1 is good enough for many good schools e.g. SJI, VS, CHS, ACS(I) under the O-level track, but falls short of the cut-off point for IP programme A-Level track. So near, yet so far........

Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks.

From a concerned dad.

perhaps u can try first choice IP programme of a secondary school then the second choice is the O level programme of the same secondary school, in this way if the child does not get the IP programme, the child can still go to the same dual programme secondary school and try again at the end of sec 2 for admission into sec 3 IP.

Will it be easier to gain admission to the IP in School A if you were from the O level track of School A, than if you were from School B?

That is, is there any advantage of being in the O level track of a dual-track school?
I believe so ... they would probably give priority to their own students first if they qualify ...

my DD got 254 and considering NJC. MGS(IP .O LEVEL).CEDAR( IP. O LEVEL).

also TJC. Can you anyone advise if there is any chance to enter above mentioned school ? prefer IP SCHOOL.
I think that need to appeal for IP .
thanks

Hi, anyone knows the cut off marks for EESIS award for this year? It is usually given to the top 3% and think last year is 260.

I just started a new thread on this here - http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=45998

If parents could help fill in the scores we will be able to find out the EESIS COP this year.

Hi, Whether your kids is eligible for EESIS scholarship has been indicated in the letter given to them yesterday.
my daughter got it with aggregate score 262. I guess the cut-off is 260.
