                I guess everyone has forgotten that the PSLE scores are normalised; exactly half will do below average and half will do above average, evenly distributed. Rules of thumb: the average is somewhere between 200-210 +/- a few points (biased upwards), 250+ will put you in the top 10%, and there is no upper limit in theory (although in practice it’s probably around 290).

                        Don’t think Nan Hua’s top scorer is 285 bec no other parent has stepped in to confirm this. Better to remove from the list until someone else confirms.


                        As far as I know the top scorer of 285 is from NYPS. Local GEP Chinese boy.
