      Can I double check with above two KSPs, whether your ds are offered all three categories of third lang? including Germany, Japanese and French? Thanks

        Foreign Language Programmes


        Pupils who are ranked among the top 10% of the PSLE and who have a special ability in languages are eligible to apply for approval to study a foreign language (i.e. French/ German/ Japanese) from S1.

        Eligible top 10% pupils can apply for French/ German/ Japanese online upon the release of their PSLE results. Pupils opting for Japanese Language are required to have passed Higher Chinese/ Chinese at the PSLE as the standard written form of Japanese uses Kanji (Chinese characters....

          Yup, including German , japanese and French for my ds 🙂

          Sorry folks , just checked e result script , is cat 1 & 2 only , without japanese and etc

            Yup, including German , japanese and French for my ds 🙂

            Dear vkoh, thank you. That means top 10% of cohort is about 249, constant with previous year. 😄

              Saw result slip of DD friend, 245+1 offered Cat 1 & 2 third language. Don’t hv Jap, German, French etc.

                Same situation for my dd's best friend who scored 248+2.

                  Hi Parents,

                  If your child was offered three categories of third language this year, could you please enter his/her T-score here so we can determine the COP for top 10% this year. Thanks.
                  For CAT 1 and 2 third language, I think more weightage given to Eng plus MT scores rather than overall T-score.

                    Dear Medolies, now we are quite sure the top 3% is >262 and top 10% is 249, which are the similar to previous years. T score does do its work.

                      Dear ruohoo97, as edited in my previous post,my ds does not have 3rd language option , only cat 1 and 2. So top 10% shall be more than 249
