Hi, we are planning a trip to korea in apr next year. Prefer to be free and easy so that we will not be rushed. I cannot imagine gathering at 6am and reaching hotel at 11pm hee.

I wish to cover seoul and jeju. Wanted to check if there is any one who can share her itinerary and recommend any freelance guide?

I went through the archives and realise there were many info from insider, but I can’t find any of this reading. Not sure if it has been archived.

Would like to cover mainly eating, shopping, theme parks, and sight seeing. Not sure if timely to go ski resort.

I just came back from Korea a couple of days ago. Skiing is definitely over by the time u go in April. How many days will u be there? For Seoul, its pretty easy to move around as most of the tourist attractions are in town & can reach by MRT.

I was there for 9 days & I did not include jeju coz really no time. If your dates are confirmed, I would suggest booking your air ticket for jeju early coz the earlier u book the cheaper the ticket. U can either self drive or hire a driver in jeju if u prefer hassle free. U may want to read up in trip advisor as there are a few recommendations for such driver/ guide.

For those going to Korea soon, the weather now is cold but really nice :rahrah: When I was there last week, temperature is about 5 or 6 degrees & if u going outskirt, its even colder like 1 degree. So u dress warmly.

            Hi,

Would like to check with Korea experts here…

Are Samsung phones cheaper in Korea than Singapore? Advisable to buy from there?

            Tks

Hello, I am planning to travel on 29 mar and coming back on 8 April. Oh dear and I plan to cover jeju for 3 full days. Gosh, thought Seoul lesser days to cover.

May I know much much time we got to set aside for transit? Cos if we arrive in Incheon, we still need to travel to gimpo to take the domestic flight right? Ow many hours should we set aside for transit? Any advice p,s?

3 days is good enough for jeju. For seoul, it depends on where & what u want to cover so its subjective. With kids in tow, I cant packed too much activities in a day.

From incheon to gimpo, u can take the arex train, journey is abt 30 mins.

Hi, so may I know does it mean I should buffer at least 3 hours in between? May I know if you could share roughly the places your kids enjoy visiting? Thanks so much.

I'm not sure what time u need to check in for domestic flight. Maybe u can check with the airline u are taking to jeju or the korea tourism org, then from there u should be able to estimate how much time u need.

actually my kids enjoyed all of the places we went coz every holiday is about them & for them 😄 we will be going back again for snow next dec.

Places we went this trip are:
                    Gyeongbokgung palace & Gwanghwamun square
Garden of the morning calm & Nami island
                    Cheonggyecheon stream
                    Lotte world
                    Everland
                    Pororo park
                    Noryangin fish market
Trick eye museum & Hongik free market
Dongdaemun market (toys & stationery street)
                    Namdaemun market

Places which we didnt manage to cover though its in my itineary
                    Coex aquarium
                    Insadong
                    Seoul Tower
                    Namsangol hanok village

I stayed in Myeongdong so lots of shopping & food. Actually there are so many places to visit in Korea, cant cover all in 1 trip. If your kids are above 6yrs, u can include Kidzania which I plan to bring my kids next year.
