DoDo_DoDo:
mummy so kiasu:
what is the highest PSLE score in Nan Chiau ?

percentage scored > 250 ?

NYPS 285
NCPS 276

More than 10% score > 250 & above (top 10% of the PSLE cohort) & more than 5% score 260 & above (top 5% of the PSLE cohort)

Well done :rahrah:
Does anyone know how many % more?
10% score >250 should be minimum for School like NCPS...
I would expect above average performance.

Passing rate from NCPS : 100%

Express 80.x %

Approximately 20 scored 260 and above, no idea for 250 and above.

All passes (including quality passes) are above national average.

Hi,

Need to check with the parents here. My girl’s classmates have been giving out party favours during their birthday and my girl’s birthday falls on the first week of January and i am not sure if i can prepare some simple birthday favours for her whole class. Her P1 teachers this year are okay with the birthday favours but not sure starting P2, the teachers will be unhappy about it? If I want to give, do i have to bring to the general office to be pass to the teacher?

Also recently my girl received a certificate of academic acheivement for being the top 25% for P1 in Nan chiau primary and this is sent out from the sengkang grassroot together with the application form for bursary. However i think the application form for bursary is tied in with cap in the monthly household income so i dun think we are eligible for the bursary. Just to check if this certificate is given to all children in the same level like top 10%, top 15% all the way until top 40%?

P1-P4 only top 25% will qualified for bursary,

you should be looking at p5-p6 standard whereby only top 5% qualified for edusave scholarship

Edusave Merit Bursary (EMB) is for child who is within the top 25% of each level in his school.
Gross monthly household income must not exceed $5,000 or per capita income is not exceeding $1,250 (computed based on the gross monthly household income divided by the number of household members).
$200 for Primary 1 to 3

Thanks.

I'd like to ask when I can buy school uniform and T-shirts at school? Also, will school give the name tags when I buy uniforms? Many thanks! 😄
