I checked with my DD's form teacher and she said that she did not hear any change for Science.

Anyway, I am curious to know about that assessment book too 😄

If we have the Janet Sim Lower and Upper guide, is it not necessary to get any PSLE guidebook anymore?

Unlikely to hv primary sc syllabus or textbooks changed next yr. If there is, shd hv known by now. Eg: sec 1 math will be changed next yr, so u can't get the sec 1 math textbook in the market now!

Depends.... Some kids have very good memory, so they pick up key words and concepts or skills after referring or doing Janet Sim challenging sc or challenging sc exam papers or process skills worksheets. However, most kids need to hv practices repeatedly in order to fully grasp the concepts and skills. For those already pick up basic concepts may do janet sim challenging sc, challenging sc exam papers n process skills worksheets but the books may be too tough for those beginners (fast or slow learners), then 3-in-1 is a better choice. In fact, my kids used 3-in-1 in Dec or June holidays before schools taught the topics, and thematic challenging sc after sch taught the topics, and challenging exam papers bef CA or SA.
And it is very important for kids to read up the school textbooks (like reading story books).
