I understand ur girl in pro-teach and ur gal next yr P1 so is it confirm ur gal can get a seat in pre-teach as my son 2014 will also be in P1 after my girl in P1 motivator. Thanks

i have checked they are the same, but i’m lazy to run 2 rounds - sch to get english, exercise books, etc. so i buy everything from sch instead. I have a friend that bought P1 textbooks from popular (few yrs ago) & there were some changes - either syllabus or different edition, end up my friend got to buy new set of textbooks from sch bookshop instead. anyway, all mummies want to save (me too), but i don’t want to take the risk of buying 2nd set.


textbook - savings 40cents each
workbooks - saving ard 25cents each

i did a calculation can only save +/- $2, without the additional 5% discount yet.

oh i din keep the uniform order form. But ytd i took a peep on the opening hours… the uniform vendor is open this thus & fri from 9pm to 3pm. I forget to take my phone to do a snap shoot. I know they are open on one of the sat but can’t remember the exact date. if u don’t mind, you can watsapp me at 82229852. once i take the photo of opening hours, i send to you.

yes my 2nd girl is guarantee of a place in Pro-teach. as long as your girl is in, your son will guarantee (anyway they will ask for a deposit as they did this yr to secure the place). And siblings got saving too. i think is $20 per mth saving for 2nd one.

oh lookout at NTUC. i stumbled few weeks back selling at less than $13… giant got sells too… i bought the sleeping bag for my gal at $16.90


oh… i also prefer small pillow for my elder gal. u can get the $9.90 type from japan home. one side is beans… the other side is cushion type… just my 2cents contribution…

i just bot all the books last night online but still got few items they don have stock.
As for the sleeping bag i bot at beach road after bargain $12 its cotton inside as i checked at giant and mustafa very expensive for the branded one and somemore not cotton.

sleeping bag $12 is worth … i can’t remember the name of the sleeping bag… but the kids don’t sleep everyday & nap time is ard 1-1.5hrs.

oh there are two OOS if i remember correctly - the organiser & the one that the principal mentioned during the 16nov orientation… can’t remember the exact book name. this book can only be ready ard end Jan as explained by the principal.

i’m a full time working mum. so no extra time to join the parents-volunteer work. Maybe can only do it when my 3rd one starts P1 two yrs later.

one of the mummies is asking on the order form for uniform, sorry i don’t have but i managed to take a photo of their opening hours:

29Nov & 30Nov: 9am to 3pm
6Dec & 7Dec: 9am to 3pm
15Dec: 9am to 12pm
26Dec & 27Dec: 9am to 3pm

don’t bother to call the uniform vendor, they don’t pick up the lines. i tried calling last yr when my girl’s skirt went out of stock.

oh btw if u thinking of wrapping the textbooks (the school bookshop vendor : Pacific has no stock for the bigger & one-&-only size book cover), can go to Punggol Plaza 2nd floor the bookshop. Just go to the counter & the owner (man) will help you to measure the books (yes better bring the books) & he will take the correct size book cover.


i don’t know how much popular sells, but ytd i bought 3 different sizes, i paid $4+ for 6pcs. will be cheaper if u buy those traditional plastic roll & wrap the books yourself.
