jedamum, those are actually pyramid-shaped boxes with a hole for a straw on the side. Strange given that I never seem to find the straws for the milk. Most times I just cut off the tip and glug it down. After a while, they started coming in the carton format.

So there. Proof that I was once skinny as h*ll.

YES to those, including stealing neighbours' mangoes from their trees using the gala pole sorry!

my sisters n i had a metallic cooking set, we made a makeshit stove in the garden, using twigs n stones, then put a guppy in a pot with water and watch it cook. how gruesome! sorry guppy. pls forgive us. we also used the toy chopper to chop up leaves and pretend we were cooking veg.

I had those plastic ones and YES I used to pluck leaves and flowers and pretend they were veges too !!!

I check with my hubby again. The milk not lumpy. How come I remember mine was? :?

chief, watch out! my mum's a pet killer..she's slaughtered chickens, ducks, rabbits..no dogs la. Have seen how she does it...by putting the blade to the neck of the duck. :yikes: and then draining the blood into a bowl.

I check with my hubby again. The milk not lumpy. How come I remember mine was? :?[/quote]hey En, the free milk I used to drink in school was lumpy and it did not come in single package form. It is lumpy because they pour the powder into large containers and mixed it themselves. In later years, the milk had to pay and it came in banana flavour if I recalled rightly and I remember having the straws. So we are in the same era....but one thing for sure was I was not skinny but I still got to drink the milk. :lol:

Oh... I'm not squeamish about killing chickens... I've seen and done it myself. But those are chickens with which I have no emotional ties. How can anyone bear the look in the eyes of their pet when they are about to slaughter them? :scared:

Of all things, why chicken talk? It reminds me of a terrible accident I had when I was little. While trying to catch the runaway chicks and put them back into the box, I stepped onto one and killing it instantaneously with my foot!

And that spelt the end of my chicken rearing career...

Milk, I don't think I received any free packets. Still remember paying $1.50 weekly for the pyramid milk.
But, but, but, I was undernourished enough to get free milk powder.

All the PSP talk in the other thread reminds me of the handheld games I played during my younger days. Does anybody remember the octopus, hammers flying about, parachute games, etc? During that time, one gameset can play only one game.
