Hi, do any one know if you are eligible for EESIS then are you eligible for ESPS - Edusave Scholarships for Primary Schools ?

If only 1 award available, then what about those who are eligible for EESIS but they didnot choose IS school, this group will entitled nothing ?
You mean ESSS - edusave scholarships for secondary schools?

      From MOE site:
The Edusave Scholarships for Secondary Schools (ESSS) are awarded on a yearly basis to the top 10% pupils who are Singapore Citizens by level and stream in all government and government-aided secondary schools (excluding the IS) based on the pupils’ school examination results for the year. These scholarships are to encourage pupils to excel in their studies and reward their efforts. The schools will select pupils for these yearly awards at the end of the school year. The value of these scholarships is $500.

        No, I mean

Edusave Scholarships for Primary Schools (ESPS)
        From MOE website :-
If your child is studying in primary 5 or 6 in a government or a government-aided school, he is eligible for the Edusave Scholarship for Primary Schools if he is amongst the top 10% of students of his level. Your child will be selected by his school for this scholarship based on his overall school examination results for the year. The value of the award is $350.

During P5, my DD got it. Now bcos her classmates was eligible for EESIS but she had CO from RV and EESIS is not applicable . So wonder will her classmate get the ESPS this year for P6 )

Those two are separate. Your dd's friend will only enjoy EESIS next year if she chooses to go to an IS. But since she is not going to an IS, she will not get EESIS.

ESPS is determined by the school So long as you are top 10% of your school (not nationwide), you will get it. EESIS has absolutely no bearing on ESPS.

Thanks, jtoh. Because I had received the Bursary Form for my younger child but not my elder child (P6) today. So I thought P6 is only entitled for 1 scholarship, either EESIS or ESPS. I wait see next week whether the letter will come…

I think last year the letters came quite late for the P6s.

                  Anyone notice the change

2011: if 2 pupils with same rounded score, higher unrounded score first, if same un rounded score, singaporean first
2012:if 2 pupils with same rounded score, singaporean first

From 250 to 260, about 150 pupils for every t score

CCHS ( Main ) is a SAP school, so HCL points will be included in the COP.
