        Miss Bean:
        ngbrdad:

For Nan Hua, nearest bus stop is either on AYE or Commonweanlth Ave West right ?

Which way is nearer to walk in ? and how long does it take to walk to NH ?
And what time does the school start daily ?

Hi, I'm staying in Jurong East. I had tried out by taking a bus from the opposite bus stop at Ivory Park(near 7 days Adventist). You can take bus nos 97, 97e(peak hour) and 197 (all these buses came from Jurong East Bus interchange). Its travels along AYE, once you see NUS High you have to alight (10 mins) and walk across a short overhead bridge. Follow the path (along AYE) on your right you will see NUS high. When you come to the end of the NUS high, turn right and walk up a few steps and continue to walk on the path then cut out to the HDB then a carkpark. When you reach the carpark, you are able to see Nan Hua Hight across the road (the walking distance from where you alight to Nan Hua takes 8 mins).

If you would like to go to clementi MRT station, at Nan Hua School gate turn right and just walk along the path to the main road where you can see the MRT track. At the end of the path, you can see a bus stop, there are many buses to take Clementi MRT station(walk to the main road takes 8 mins). Alternative you may walk from the school to Clementi MRT station(20mins). Bus no 99 travels from Clementi Bus interchange to Jurong East(opp road of Yuhua CC) and Jurong West then to Jurong Point shopping centre.

I hope it will help you. :xedfingers:

        Hi Miss Bean,
Can I confirm from Jurong East to NUSH is 10mins based on morning school traffic? Another 8mins to walk to NHHS?

As long yr child passed HMT or A* in MT in PSLE, she/he shoud be offered HMT in sec sch.

NHHS will encourage non HCL students to take HCL in sec 1.

Went to Principal talk back in Oct (if I remember correctly). Was told that some students that cannot cope with HMT can take Normal Chinese. When I asked roughly how many cannot cope with HMT, she said about 60-70.
