They claim to offer the same price. But I feel that for some items that are non-school specific eg. dictionary, stationery, etc... it might be cheaper to buy from popular outlets especially if you are a member and they happen to have some 20% discount voucher.

The popular staff told me that buy from school, not subject to GST. and from outlets, with GST but after 20% discount, its definitely more worth it. but does the 20% discount apply to textbook?

I think there is a clause on the 20% voucher that it cannot be used for text books. But for general purchases such as color pencils, dictionary,etc… those are not classified as text books.

Did you go back to the school bookshop lately? Just wondering how the queue is like at the bookstore in school since school is opening in 2 weeks. Else I tell the kids to get it themselves when school starts. The compo exercise book was not in stock when I bought the books last month.
