          I will be going to Korea next week, as it is so cold now, can just wear track shoes instead of winter boots? Must shoes be anti slip?

                winter in korea is very harsh & dry. if u hv low tolerence of cold, a good thermal & down jacket is a must.

                  I checked WOS website and realised they are having expo sale till today.

                  We went down yesterday and managed to buy all our hiking boots.

                  DD bgt columbia boots at $49 and DS bgt hi-tec boots at $49 too. Sizes are limited but we managed to get our sizes. Its really a good deal.

                        Generally the higher percentage of down the better & warmer. Do get heat pads for extra warm. Usually it's the wind that's the killer.
