What grade do you need to stay on in NAFA, A? What is that equivalent to in ABRSM… 130, or higher?
-
aiyo ... so sad ... but i heard the final score will be an averaged one, not solely depend on the internal exam ...
CatLoh:
My son got a B+, so the teacher said sorry, he can't continue... this has hurt him much.. and he cried.:(kathyh:
dear parents, how is the recent internal exam going? have you all got ur results?
Any mummies have any recommendation of good teachers or any comments on Forte Academy? -

Does your boy like his existing nafa teacher? If he's fine with that teacher, can continue as private student.
Actually my dd's ex-nafa teacher hint hint a few times she's teaching privately. But out of question because my dd absolutely couldn't stand that teacher -
may i know what is the reason you dd cannot stand her?

I have asked his NAFA teacher but she said her schedule is all packed. I asked if she knows of any colleagues that can take private teachers but she said they are all full.CatLoh:

kathyh:
Mine stopped after 1 semester. Absolutely no chemistry with teacher, nearly killing the joy of learning music. Teacher super super stern & fierce, only keep criticising saying 'no no no', 'wrong wrong wrong' and keep repeating 'fingers up high' :slapshead:may i know what is the reason you dd cannot stand her?

haha, yes yes, exactly!
