Anyone knows if i book the disneyland hotel elsewhere where its room only, where can i book the bf to meet the character? I checked their website, reservation only for lunch and dinner. Thanks.

You can just call HK Disneyland and tell them you want to reserve BF, lunch or dinner. They can do it for you. I made all of my reservations over the phone. 😄

Anyone knows which one has character meeting for breakfast? I saw from their website that there are 2 cafes. Both have or either one only?

The character restaurant at Disneyland hotel is Enchanted Garden.
There is a discount on breakfast if you book before your arrival. See link:

When I was there, Chef Mickey at Hollywood hotel did not have characters. Not sure about now. If you look at the link I provided earlier, it seems to imply only Enchanted Garden has characters. But if you want to be absolutely sure, you can always call them and ask. Unless someone else who has been there recently can confirm. Given the price difference in the meals at Enchanted Garden and Chef Mickey, I doubt the latter has characters.

wow, walt disney world! how many nites will be u staying there?

                  dinnner & fireworks
one more question... how do u all manage the dinner timing and the fireworks? i understand alot seems to dine at chef mickey? do u go back to the park? or watch the fireworks from the hotel? on the days i am staying.. 1st night -> fireworks start at 730pm.. and 2nd nite - halloween night parade at 730pm and fireworks 9pm.

WDW : We are going to spend 16 nights in orlando, staying 11 nite at Disney's Polynesian Resort and 5 nites at Universal's Hard Rock Hotel :imcool: . Planning to visit the 4 disney main parks, water park, disney quest, seaworld and Discovery cove, the 2 universal parks, legoland, do airboat tour and of course shopping

Disney and fireworks at HK disney :
I have been thinking so hard what I did that nite since I saw your question. cannot remember :siao: 🤷 So I checked my photos on my facebook  here's what we did (base on chronological order of my photos) after we check in at Disneyland Hotel after we left our city hotel:
                  1. drop bags at Disneyland hotel in the morning and went to Nong Ping 360. Came back in late afternoon to check in. hang around the beautiful hotel grounds and had our dinner with Stitch (seasonal outdoor event) at disney's Hollywood hotel. After dinner, as we were waiting for the bus to take us back to disneyland hotel, we saw the fireworks at the Hollywood hotel car park :imcool:
                  2. Went to Disneyland early after a room service bf. Toured until lunch and came back to Disneyland Hotel for our disney character dim sum lunch. the park was so hot in june that we welcomed the cool break at the hotel. After some rest, went back to Disneyland in the late afternoon/early evening and watch the night fireworks. Can't remember where we ate that nite, no photos too. So must be some fastfood in the park 🤷 (I am getting old 😢 )
                  3. Character bf at Enchanted Garden at Disneyland hotel and went to the park for another short round. Came back in the afternoon after the afternoon parade to relax in the pool and had character dinner at enchanted garden.
                  4. makeover for DD and followed by lunch at chinese restaurant then home sweet home.

                      Hi everyone,

I’m back from Hong Kong ! A fun and tiring trip for us…tiring because there are lots of walking in the rain. Seems like Hong Kong is experiencing unexpected wet weather these days, so remember to bring umbrellas and raincoats.

We went to the Peak, Ocean Park, Venetian Hotel (Macau), Ngong Ping and Disneyland. Due to the wet weather, the Peak and Big Buddha is shrouded in fog. So not much to see. But to the kids, it was fun as they have not experienced that before.

The children enjoyed the Ocean Park’s show and animals. We saw the Pandas ! But there is a lot of walking, especially uphill and downhill to watch the dolphin show. As the kids are still young, we skipped most of the rides, only went for the rides at the kids area.

Disneyland’s queues are quite manageable, maximum 20 mins. And yes, still have to deal with queue-cutting. In fact, queue-cutting is everywhere…from the peak tram, disney resort shuttle, disneyland itself, ocean park.

A money-saving tip for those going to ocean park and disneyland, you can buy discounted tickets from China Travel Services from the Arrival hall of the Hong Kong International Airport. Ocean park tix was selling at HKD40 cheaper and DL tix was HKD29 cheaper. Added up quite substantial savings for a family.
