Eons ago, I graduated from queenstown primary. Still scouting a school for my ds as we are still looking to buy, the post inspired me to look at the school.

          Hi sweetbaby,

Hubby & I hope that our boys can enjoy childhood as much as we used to be. We believe character building & moral values are just as important.
We are glad to chance upon Pre-school By-the-Park during our pre-school search, and the team inspired us a lot.

Every teacher knows every kid in the school.
Every kid knows every teacher in the school.
Every teacher knows every parent, grandparent, sibling, helper of every child.
Every parent knows every child, their parents, grandparents, sibling, helpers.
It's a big FAMILY filled with passion, commitment - believing that every child is unique, giving them every opportunity to grow.
Every year we gathered for community project and we look forward to the year end concert. πŸ™‚

After hearing good reviews of QTPS, I checked out their website - nothing commercial - every monthly open letter by the principal is so motivational, I feel her passion - the same passion of the preschool team! The current principal is new to QTPS - and I hope that for as long as my boys are there, she will not get transferred out. πŸ™‚

My gut feel was reassured when we visited the school this year during their open house this year! Yes, I am KIASU! πŸ™‚
The kids were the ones running the show - IMPRESSIVE!
I still remembered the girl welcoming us to the open house - very well mannered - u can tell from the kids' faces - they enjoy the school, they are proud of their school.

I hope this will be a right school for my boys too πŸ™‚

          cheers,

My kid has a CDA account and he’s the 2nd child. Can’t remember what is criteria for CDA but hope this helps. Remember we put in $6k then and government contribute same amount (the max amt of $6k) - one of the rare moments receive $ from government - so I remember this.

CDA account balance now running low… Is there any reason / benefit to top up the amount in the CDA account?

The child can say out the 笔画 when writing out the different strokes of the Chinese character in the writing practice book. Chinese characters can be ε·¦ε³η»“ζž„ or δΈŠδΈ‹η»“ζž„. Teach the child to identify it. Learning (bian pan) such as ε•δΊΊζ—γ€ε£ε—ζ—γ€ζœ¨ε—ζ—γ€ζζ‰‹ζ—γ€δΈ‰η‚Ήζ°΄γ€δΈ€η‚Ήζ°΄γ€θ¨€ε—ζ—γ€θ‰ε—ζ—γ€η‰η‰ (bian pan) helps the child to remember the Chinese words easier. Can try use play doh to form the Chinese character and say out the strokes. Then get a small whiteboard marker and let the child use marker to write on the whiteboard.
