CCHS ( Main ) is a SAP school, so HCL points will be included in the COP.

I didn't realize the number of students taking PSLE in 2009 was 49,856, higher than the Dragon year cohort this year.

          My predictions:
          1) COP for top tier IP schools will go up.
          2) COP for other IP schools will remain about the same or go down minimally bec of the increase in IP places with the intro of new IP schools.

Think COP for HCI, RGS, RI up 2 and NYG likely up 2.
Just follow EESIS, it has the best characteristics for predicting the top COPs.

Tomorrow the speculation on the top end non-affliated cut-offs (e.g. RGS,RI, HCI,) will be revealed. My bet is on the EESIS as indicator as this cutoff is for the top X number of students (since the number of places in indepedent schools hasnt changed much in past few years, and my estimate is about 1100-1200 EESIS awards are given). This removes some of the uncertainty across different years due to different number of PSLE students, difficulty of PSLE (harder generally means higher highest t-scores ie those mentioned in newspapers), and distribution of t-scores (PSLE 2009 had many higher top scores, but lower EESIS).

            Hi,

Can I suggest we announce the schools our DC are posted to and their T scores. Then we will roughly know what are the COP for the various schools for 2012. This information will help eveyone who wants to appeal.

Yeah, that was what I suggested when I put out a new thread. But have not received any replies.

Knowing the COP could allow us to know to a certain extent what are the chances of any appeals.

It's inclusive of your HMT score.

                  If the cut off is 237, and you scored 235 + 2, it's considered as 237 😄
