      hi,

      i have a boy born in 2008 too…

I am an old student from Nan Chiau Pri so most probably will let my boy studys at my alma mater. Luckily its not too far from where we live, 3 MRT stations away or about 20 mins drive. Rosyth is 1.55km from where we live but i doubt even got a chance to ballot so don’t think about it, sometimes have to be practical and also try not to stress myself…

hi my son also born in 2008.

I’m interested in ACSJ, St Andrews & Hong Wen, how should i choose?
ACSJ has no PV, SA & HW can only start to register for PV next year before June 2013.

          Hi 2008mom,

ACSJ not easy to get in even if you stay within 1 km…SAJ and Hong Wen maybe stand better chance but also depends whether you live within 2 km or not…both my nephews studied at SAJ, my second nephew who did his PSLE this year scored 240 (3 As and 1 As) and he chose back SA…my eldest nephew scored 235 for PSLE and 7As (6A1 and 1A2) for his ‘o’ level’ 2 years ago and went for the scholarship programme at SAJC…

My sis asked me to try SAJ but its quite impossible for my boy to get in coz we live more than 3 km away…

actually i prefer all boys school and my ‘dream’ all boy school for my boy is catholic High School…just dream only…hee hee…

                Phase 1. ;D

One of his elder brothers will be in Sec 4 the same year that he's in Pri 1.

But well, many years ago, we did ballot for a place for one of our elder boys!

I know, I know...you guys will think this is real kiasu. P1 registration for this year not even over and already a thread for registration 2 years later.

But there are a few parents with 2007 kids (registration in 2013) asking about PV application and/or active community leader application. It is unfortunate to inform them that they are too late!

So for those of you with 2008 kids, and you are planning to get yourself into phase 2B by way of PV or GRL, you will have to start NOW!

OMG. Already stressed by reading other threads about primary schools.

Can I ask if anyone knows about PV in Palm View Primary school for 2015 intake? It seemed like some schools eg Nan Chiau & Rivervale has closed their PV intake for 2015 enrolement. :whut:

                  Thanks alot in advance!

A very very very late reporting!! DS born in 2008 and I had been doing research since she was 2 YO! But I had a bad 2012 so stop surfing all websites and by the time I wake up, most PV application had closed! Moreover most school only accept PV within 2km now. And I know I’m too late for GRL (was intending to join CCMC as I’m still looking for a property near to school). I’m in a real fix and so stressed now. Any recommendation on what I should be doing? I’m aiming at NYPS.

                      Hi ,

                      Pardon my ignorance!
Are the old girls of CHIJ recognized across all its schools for P1 registration.
e.g. old girl of CHIJ Kellock to register for CHIJ Toa Payoh?
Thanks in advance for your advice!
