Was wondering if to go to poly, must the R2 subjects be one from 1st group of relevant subject & one from 2nd group of relevant subject or can both of them be from the 1st group? I wanna take accounting in ngee ann, but for the 2nd group, it's only comb. humans for me and i'm very weak in it, scored C6 for sec 3 EOY

If comb. humans is really counted to get into accounting as the relevant subject.. I'M DEAD! 😢

Just want to know in advance so that i can prepare for o's next year, focusing on the impt subjects hahaha.

I cannot answer as I know nothing of what you are asking. For your information, I do not like accounting and doing balance sheet.

okay let me rephrase my qn lol. i'm referring to this ELR2B2 table -> http://www.woodgrovesec.moe.edu.sg/wbn/slot/u1080/About%20WGS/Admission%20Criteria/17.bmp

For the ELR2B2-B, 1st group of relevant subjects are emath & amath, 2nd group are that whole chunk. was wondering if the 2 relevant subjects must be 1 from 1st group (i.e. amath/emath) and 1 from the 2nd group (comb. humans) or can it come from only one group (amath and emath)?

e.g., ELR2B2-B score is based on english, amath (1st group), comb. humans (2nd group), best 2 or based on english, amath (1st group), emath (1st group), best 2?

i wanna get into accounting or any finance related courses, so i need to know which subjects will be counted for my score, so that i can focus more on it.

          THANKS! hope it's clearer?

You need one subject from \"2nd Group of Relevant Subjects\", i.e. 2 relevant subjects : 1 from 1st group (i.e. amath/emath) and 1 from the 2nd group (comb. humans)

Your school will give a briefing on the various path after O level exam. You can double confirm with your teacher on the question you have.

Try to work harder for your comb. humans. As for accounting course in poly, don't restrict yourself to Ngee Ann Poly, unless you are staying near NP.

                Jia You !

                  Thanks.

Based on the powerpoint file provided, yes you can select E Maths as one of the best subject if you do not use it as 1st relevant subject.

If I remember correctly, on your \"O\" results result slip, it will list down what is your score for the 4 Aggregate Types for Poly (ELR2B2-A, ELR2B2-B, ELR2B2-C, ELR2B2-D), as well as L1R5 (not sure about the rest).

However it is good to check your scores printed on the results slip, in case there is a system error again.

oh okay! but i don't want to wait till so long cause i wanted to see what subjects are like more important so i can focus on it.. (my chinese & comb humans are always failing!)

actually i'm not quite sure why i want to go NP so badly, but oh well if i can't make it i can go to NYP which is near my house haha.

                      thanks!!! šŸ˜„ šŸ˜„
