2014 PSLE Discussions and Strategy

I am in the same boat with everyone.
Son will be going to P5 in '13 and then PSLE in '14. Have been pyschoing him that if he can do well in PSLE then have choice to choose better schools. Any tips and strategies are welcome.

Finally, I’m joining this thread…
We all know by now, P5 is much tougher than P4… big jump in school workloads etc. I’m letting DS1 enjoy the last two weeks of school holidays ( but started his tuition in December already ). I’ve psyched myself up too… but not forgetting I have a child going to P1 next year too…
All the best to us in 2013 and support and encourage our children for the tough journey ahead. -
Two more weeks to school reopen.
Any nice chinese drama serial with chinese subtitles to recommend? For boys. Tried journey to west last time, but too tough to understand even for me. -
My dd partially completed PSLE this year and my ds will be PSLE in 2014. I am still waiting my dd appeal result.

Hmmm....You need to face 2 PSLE in 2 consecutive years. All the best! -
Wow... this is indeed scary. My eldest dd is P6 this year so I am going to face PSLE.... followed by my P5 ds who will sit for it in 2014.... I probably got to learn from this year first before I can contribute..... But but... they are different.... alot depends on his performance this year as well to see where he stand....
We've talked about DSA options based on their desired CCA. Ability to get in is a separate issue.... That is like in 6 months time... :nailbite:
But before that.... we still have to face CA1 and SA1.... another :nailbite: and btw, today is just the 1st day of school...... So for those of you sitting in 2014.... chill ok -
My DS also appearing for psle 2014…after the holidays…woof puff…gearing up to face P5…The race has started today…

ds starts to bring back HW. Can see that he cannot start his engine after 2 mths break.
