Thanks skyed, so that’s mean all students will need to bring their laptops? How abt O level students? Any idea?
-
Hi, I’m not sure if the laptops belong to the students or are provided by the school. In my experience in the o level track we don’t use laptops in any of our classes except in computer studies in lower sec where we go to the computer lab for class.

Yes, according to the school website.

Our Secondary 4 batch of 2011 has excelled in all domains and done the school proud. They are testament to the distinctive SCGS all-round education as these girls have been outstanding in both curricular and co-curricular areas.
In the 2011 GCE O-Level Examination, our pupils continued the high standards set by their seniors before them. They have maintained a strong mean subject grade of below 2. 50% of the cohort scored an L1R5 of 8 points or below. Most subjects showed improvement while others were maintained at a high level of performance, comparable to the last two years. The top girl, Denise Ann Tsang of Secondary 4 Sincerity, scored 10A1s.
With these good results, SCGS is among the top Band 1 schools.
All this would not have been possible without the consistent hard work, ambition and tenacity of our 2011 Secondary 4 girls and their very supportive parents. Our dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff have also shown strong support to our girls throughout this journey and special credit goes to all the teachers who have taught these girls from Secondary 1 to 4. We wish our Secondary 4 batch of 2011 all the best in their future endeavours and are confident that they will go on to impact society in positive ways. \" -
Would like to check whether are there many SCGS students taking MEP (Music Elective Program) as I’m considering whether to let dd take either Third Lang or MEP? I’m a bit confused the difference between MEP & Higher Music course. Are they the same? Can someone enlighten me? TIA.

I don't know anyone taking music as an O level subject in my school.
