Wat kind of story books do p1 read nowadays? For boys?

During my time was enid blyton, nancy drew. But dun think so kids likes these now.
Hv no idea wat books to get for silent reading.
Well.. when my boy in P1 (2012), his friends and himself is indulge in this series named as Gerimos Stalton ( I m not sure the spelling is right.). But I just think you can let your child bring any books that he is comfortable. Moreover, his form teacher or MT teacher will let them borrow some books and every week will exchange new books when he starts his term. :rahrah:

        Could it be:

        HP - High Performing
        MP - Med Performing
        LP - Lower Performing

        πŸ˜„
How do the school group these students into these categories? Is it looking at the overall percentage as which Band then decides?? :scratchhead:

I am considering between 2 student care centres - Just Kids and MiBuzz. Appreciate any feedback that forummers can share for these 2 centres.

          Thanks.

If I remember correctly, the last page of the handbook lists out the books to bring for the 1st 3 days of school. The timetable will be given to the kids during the 1st week of school.

                        Hi, Music freak!

Really glad to hear it from the horse's mouth. May I know how you found the teaching of science in NAPS? And do you think the school sufficiently prepared you for PSLE, meaning that tuition was not really essential?

Thanks in advance! And I hope you enjoy yourself in your secondary school!
