        Coolkidsrock2:
May I ask if your boy reads them for school or on his own? What is BFG?

I don't even know what BFG stands for...my son had thick worksheets on that book.

The BFG stands for \"Big Friendly Giant\" a book written by Roald Dahl...A suitable book for P4s and P5s.

After this year's scary experience, I feel that I had better to prepare my younger one early, first for P3 followed by building momentum for P6....she will be affected by the new format. All the best to your daughter's PSLE next year.

                Hi,

Anyone experienced the new format comprehension?

I thought no change in the grammer and vocab section but my friend told me that there will be a slight increase in the number of grammer questions. Any idea? thank you in advance.

I also have a ds for psle in 2015. next year p4-upper primary. I think it is really not too early. Either you prepare them progressively and enjoy the journey OR you rush through with them in p6.

I have also not heard much from the teacher. The change for PSLE is to tie in with the change in GCE’O’ level English syllabus change. Probably, will heard more when school re-open. Not sure whether there is any change in Paper 2 format. So I am not going to get Eng Assessment at this moment yet.

Yes, I agree with you totally...it's never too early to prepare...it's not just for exam purpose. English is a language which should always be in us at all times. Speaking proper English is an asset.
