I have not met up with my proxy to collect the letters etc .

May I know If Crescent Girls is starting Sch on the 2nd Jan ? Is there any orientation the next few days before Sch starts ? In addition, is their any pressing infor that I must know now ? (Hope to catch my proxy, my DD's Godma , these 2 days)

Bcos I heard Cedar is having their Orientation on the 28th Dec and Dunman High Sch starts on the 7th Jan.

Hello, yes, school starts on 2 Jan, report to the auditorium by 7:20 AM. You DD can check her orientation grouping after 31 Dec on the school website ( there will be a password, the password is listed in Handout A - 5.4 ). Alternatively, she may check the groupings at the school foyer when she reports to school on 2 Jan.

Orientation only starts on 2 Jan, to 4 Jan ( Wednesday, Thursday & Friday ). Students are to report in full uni ( blouse + skirt ) on Wednesday and Friday and report in half-uni ( PE shirt + PE shorts + skirt ) on Thursday.

There will be talks, cheer practices, class bonding, peer support session etc. Campfire is on 4 Jan. School ends at 4:10 PM for 2 Jan, 4 PM for 3 Jan and 8:30 PM for 4 Jan. There is a Parents' Seminar that you can attend from 7 to 8:30 PM on 4 Jan, form is included together with the other items.

For 2 Jan, your DD will need to bring her health booklet, reply slip for Parents' Seminer, Booklet B ( need to fill in achievements, experience in sports/arts etc ), and proof of citizenship for verification ( just need to bring photocopied birth cert. if Singaporean ).

May I confirm that Crescent Girls wear white coloured Sch shoes ?

Yes, white school shoes, but a bit of another colour should be fine ( eg. black line near the base of shoe ). For sports shoes, the shoes can have either black / blue / grey / white / green for the trimmings, other colours are not allowed.

Hair accessories - black / dark blue / brown
Earrings - gold stud / silver stud / transparent ear stick

By the way, the school said we report at 7 AM to check the orientation groupings, if can't make it at 7 AM it's okay, just check the orientation groupings online. ^^

From what I know,there's a culture of students wearing their pe under their school uniform.So,it is better to let your dd to start wearing it on first day of school to get used to it.My dd has intended to wear it next year.:)
