Having said that, my daughter dislike canteen food, and she also doesn't like to waste time q'ing, so I normally pack bento-box for her to bring to school, and she saves all her pocket money. 🙂

                I give my DD $2 a day.

Or $4 on the days she has to stay back for remedials and CCA. But this won’t apply to P1s.

                  Hi mummies,

My gal is gg P1 next week. She will be taking sch bus.
Does anyone know if there will be teachers to guide her to go to the assembly area when she gets off the bus in school? Are parents allow to go to the canteen during recess?

SMPS has been strict. Usually parents can’t go into school. There will usually be prefects who will guide the girls to the hall which is just near to school bus alighting point.not sure if there be any changes this year.

Hi nixtang, SMPS doesn’t allow parents into the school unless you have an appointment. Security is tight due to their proximity to the Istana.

I worried about my DD too when she was in P1. But she was well taken care of. Teachers and prefects were around to take special care of the P1s.

Many parents hung around outside the gate, trying to peek in to the P1 classrooms, which are just below road level.

Just be sure she knows the name of her class and her school bus number if she’s taking the bus.
