          Hi all,

Dd2 has been with I Can read for Jurong East. She has progressed smoothly and can read confidently.

I am looking into another centre now as I felt that I CAN READ is not exactly in tune with Singapore curriculum.

I would like to seek recommendations from parents out there to shortlist the choices. Thanks in advance.

              Kindly refer to http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/blocked-list-service-providers

As an independent site for parents to discuss all things related to their children, KiasuParents.com serves to inform and reduce the bounded rationality of people looking for various products and services for their children. It is likely that service providers will occasionally receive brickbats from dissatisfied customers who share about their unpleasant experience. In many cases, good service providers will receive support from their happy customers. All these comments give a balanced view of the actual quality of service offered by providers. Such openness allow the Internet to function as an essential source of information for everyone looking to reduce their uncertainty about products and services.

However, we understand that some service providers do not wish to be talked about in cyberspace. We will respect the wishes of any service provider who writes to us to be placed in our blocked list, so that we will filter out any comments on their products or services, regardless of content.

Please note that we have removed some of the posts in this thread and edited the title as one of these service providers was mentioned.

I think Mindstretcher and TAS does not have classes for 5 year olds, TAS starts classes for 6 year olds somewhere in term 2 or 3. Mindstretcher from what I know should start from 6 or 7 year olds. Not so sure about Morris Allen.

I don't mind to teach him Eng myself but it seems that he prefers to listen to teacher/tuitor than his mother. :frustrated: Can someone pls pls pls advise/share with me if you know of a good tuitor who is passionate to teach P1 Eng (be it 1-1 or a group of a few students). 🙏 Tks a lot! :thankyou:

Personally I feel that LCentral is better than ICR coz after my gal who had been with ICR for about 3+years had problem understanding what she read(although she can read quite well). ICR empathise on decoding to read but not comprehending skills.

Whereas LCentral helps my child to read n comprehen much better.

                      My 2cents worth 🙂
