My son was called on 27 Dec 2012 and was successful in his appeal to SJI. So happy.

So efficient as the school conducted a briefing on 28 Dec afternoon on reporting, uniform and books buying etc. My son has started preparing and will blend in well with his schoolmates on 1st day onwards... Anyone has anything to share on this school?

Congrats. some of us are waiting and dec or one pt diff fr cop. Juz to find out more. Is ya ds from non affiliate? is he having a particular cca? Do u mind sharing ya son tscore?

My nephew just got into Anglican by appeal. His psle score is 234
Find it is unfair that the school consider strictly on psle aggregrate when granting appeals. As psle is just a one time exam, it does not justify and confirm the child true abilities. My child didnt do very well and obtained 22+ but her 6 years of academic results has been constant viz top 25% from p1-5 and

        tp 10% in p6.

It is not fair that the school soley based on psle aggregrates on appeal. My child didnt do very well scored 22+ but her primary school academic results has been constant viz top 25% from p1-5 and top 10% in p6. Psle is just a one exam, the secondary school should also look into school academic results into consideration especially this dragon cum millenium cohort is the largest n most competitive with bell curve very high.

Most schools will not inform if appeals are unsuccessful. Some already started calling successful candidates since last fri and today but offices only operated half day today, you may like to wait till first two weeks of school reopen. Lessons wont start till third week so do not buy books and uniform firat if you wish to wait for good news from your appeals.

But how would the secondary school know how your child's primary school exam papers compare with the rest of the primary schools in Singapore? Depends on the primary's school's exam's standards too,r ight?
