Can I check if it is normal for a teacher to teach all 3 subjects; English, Maths and Science for the same class? I would have thought that Science will be taught by a different teacher...
And will the teachers for the P3 class be the same as in P4? (like P1/P2 hv the same teachers)

I just called home to check DS 's teacher....Form teacher = teacher for English, Maths and Science too....
I am interested to know too..... will teachers for the P3 class be the same as in P4? :scratchhead:

Wonder if there is any briefing for P3 parents? At least we need to see who are the teachers.

My DS currently in P3 and he told me this P3 form teacher used to be his P2 Music teacher.... will dig out more info fm him tonite...

Can anyone enlighten me why the P3 & P4 have different timings for end-of-school?


ie. Mon & Wed : 7.15am-12.25pm
Tue & Thur : 7.15am-12.55pm

I only know Wed timing is due to their CCA which starts fr 12:25-1:30.
As for the other days, i m just as clueless. :scratchhead:
Only have the 2013 support structure timetable to rely on now, hopefully my kid will return today with more information.

Thanks iLoveChubby... My girl's CCA is on every Thursday 1.30-3.30pm... so she only have 30 mins lunch break... think should be sufficient...

Err... not sure about 1 teacher teaching the 3 subjects thingy...but Science is only once a week, which is to my surprise...maybe it's only for P3...

But I think it is supposed to be a different FT every year, it's just coincidental that some classes have the same FT for P1 n P2... Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi Callie, my DS had the same FT and Chinese Teacher for both P1 and P2. Has its pros and cons though.

Hi mamemo, my girl also had the same FT for P1 and P2...but i heard some classes were not so... hence I thought it was purely coincidental...

I hope but i seriously doubt so... No news as of now.
Probably will only get to see the FT's face during PTC @ mid year.

I thk the Maths O programme will only start in T2... i seem to recall reading the notification just now that AS programmes for P1 & P3 only start later because the kids of these 2 levels need sometime to adjust to their schedule.
