Is there a short cut to the secondary section from the MRT other than walking up Mt Vernon road? can students go via the primary school section in the morning?

Yes, there is an MRT gate manned by a security guard. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of students walking the same way too.

My boy is in sec1. For the past few days I was reading all the past posts in this forum to find out more about MSHS. Can I ask is it right that it is compulsory to have at least a bronze cert in swimming by end of sec 1 in MSHS?

Hi my son got the timetable, it’s fm day 1-10, I supposed its day1- Monday n so forth, two weeks timetable right? But for sec 1 when do lessons start? I asked him but he said teacher didn’t say anything… How? What should I get him to pack for tomorrow 3Jan?..

Your ds is right. Every Thursday, the school will start late at 8.50 am and pupils to be in school by 8.40am.

(If invited,) of course it would be good if you can attend. However, it was slightly different for us as our Welcoming Ceremony was held together with the CCA Maze (showcases) on the same Saturday instead of 2 separate Fridays. After the briefing, DS was able to give us a quick tour round the campus and we also get to see the various CCAs that were being offered in MSHS and hence helped DS in his CCA selection. I should say, overall it was a worthwhile trip. : )
