The food is from the restaurant downstairs, Joan Bowen.
My son is in the boarding centre and he loves the food. -

Yes, what is your son's name?
Are you free to do volunteering in the School?
I can submit your details to Dorcas, SAJS Event and Partnership Co-ordinator.
When School re-open, the Chinese HOD, Mr Ng is looking for volunteers to help the P5 to prepare their PSLE next year.
If you r free, pls come for the meeting on Friday, 4.1.13, venue at the room opposite library. He hopes the parents can help the students maybe 2 to 3 times per week from 7am to 7.30am on weekdays.
Hope to see u around. -
Hi, anybody has the list from the School for the things to bring in the first 3 day for P1 next year ?
I received it when I attended the orientation in Nov’10.
Thank u and best regards. -
Hi
For those parents who are not sure what to bring on the first day of School, here is a reply from our class teacher :
"The first day would involve much admin and helping the boys get into the routine of things. As such, we foresee a minimal amount of time spent on diving into the syllabus.
It would be most helpful for the boys to bring their stationeries and the various workbooks for subject teachers to collect.
More details and the timetable will be released to the class on the first day of school."
Have an enjoyable holiday before School starts on Wednesday and a Happy New Year ! -
FYI, we have received an email from the School on 28 December 2012 :
Dear Parents,
Trust that you have a wonderful holiday bonding with your family. It is time to start preparing our boys for the school routines as they return to school next Wed, 2 Jan 2013.
School Dismissal at 1.30pm on Fri, 4 Jan 2013
We do understand that our boys would need some time to settle into the routines, especially for long days. In order to ease them in, we will only start our CCA programme on Fri, 11 Jan 2013 i.e. school hours will be 7.20am-1.30pm for the first week of school (2 Jan to 4 Jan).
Personal Thermometer
Please continue to support us in educating our boys to be socially responsible by ensuring that they come to school with a serviceable thermometer next Wed, 2 Jan 2013. We will begin our Temperature Taking Exercise next week.
Looking forward to your continual support in the new year. Wishing you and your families a blessed year ahead!
Best regards,
Thomas Tham

Hello Parents, how was your boy's first day at P1? My kid enjoyed it, though he couldn't really describe everything that happened. He felt his teachers were stern but I told him its because he is so used to his kindergarten teachers. He had no trouble waking up today, so fingers crossed he will continue to be able to wake without grumbling. He brought packed food today, but will be asking his buddy to help him buy noodles for Day 2. The buddy seemed like a rather caring boy
