One friend from TAG scored 271...she is considered mainstream, I think. (I scored 270...ARRRGHH)

Hi, If your friend is confirmed a mainstreamer but in a GEP class now, then not all mainstreamers with above 270 t score (ie at least 271) are in GEP classes.

This means 271 is the cut off point for Mainstream High Scorer.

301 seems the best class basically the whole class is taking RA.

There's no saying which is really the best year 3 class...

after all, they may be really good in whatever RA they are in, but when it comes to other subjects, it may be a disaster.

Basically, best class still exists not only in this school.

I came from neighbourhood sec sch many years ago. The best class was students doing triple pure science, double maths, double humanities and others. True enough, high scorers for O level results came out from that triple science class.

It is not depends on subject combi but it is the class environment and teachers play a part.

Eg, if let say you are doing very well, that school will ask you to take trip sci. In rgs, there can be students taking doubles mixed in a trip sci class too. Rgs even let's you choose whatever subject you want, even if you failed it. I'm sure very few schools offer and let students take 3 humans, even in ip schools.

I have friends in 301 too, and they are very very mixed up. The only lesson they have together as a class, with everyone there, is English. Rest of the time, they join other classes for other subjects.

In actual fact, they probably will not get the same teachers, or be with each other often.

Hello! šŸ™‚ after going to the CCA Orientation, I found that many CCAs interested me, but can any seniors recommend how many CCAs to try out for? What's the norm? Thanks! šŸ™‚

There isn't really a \"norm\", most people just try out as many as their schedules can fit, but do try out for those that you're interested in. I have had seniors who tried out for like 10+, even those that she had no intentions of joining, which I found a waste of time haha. Personally it's up to you, I tried for about 5, but there's no harm trying more if you have the time.

Yes you have to change into your blouse during recess, if not you'll get booked. You're only allowed to wear your PE Shirt if you're wearing culottes. šŸ˜†
