How many hours of sleep your kids getting?

      Mine only gets 7hours! !!!
I had nag him to lights out by 930pm as he needs to wake up at 545am. But he keep taking his own sweet time. This few days considered no homework, packing his bag alone he can take ages!!!
Damn frustrating! Smaller portion of dinner he take 40min longer than his younger brother!

My kids… i have to nag them to fo to bed, sleep at 10pm but they usually can’t fall asleep till1130pm or a little later… the youngest have to wake up at 5.30am while.girls at 6.30am… so thats 6-7 hours of sleep ? Sometimes they nap for an hour or two but sometimes they dont. My 2002 kid doesnt nap. So… there u go… i hope they can get more rest at night but not sadly…

Mine goes into the bedroom at 9pm but will take awhile to wind down. On the average, about 8 hours.

                  :grphug: morning, Club 2002.

Last 3 days school ends 1.30pm - no CCA, supplementary lessons etc so both my DDs able to catch a short afternoon nap for an hour 😄

Both go to bed at 10.00pm and wakes up at 6.05am.

hi, jus wondering if you let yr child sleeps early, will they hv enough time to do their homework?

mine goes to bed at 10am(may not sleep instantly) and up at 550am. less than 8 hours and he lacks sleep coz always have to drag him offf bed. he tells me he doesnt wan to go to sch. 😞

i feel bad that he is not getting enuff sleeep though i am worst tha him coz i still have housework to do though i stick to min. i hv no maid, no car. juz the 2 of us handling 2 kids and a bb at nite.

i m worried his sch work will be neglected even though his student care centre can help him. really no time to coach him at nite as his sleep is more impt.

I wish to have CA1 which the sch used to have. Now the weightage of mid year, CA2 and SA2 are higher.

                        Jkids,

I am sure my boy can finish his work if he spends lesser time Dilly dally and on eating and be more efficient in packing his bag. Currently we hope he can finish school work before dinner, so after dinner he can do revision before bed. When remedial starts and cca too, he will reach home at 440pm 3times a week. How to get him to start on home work as soon as he reach home? He will need to rest and winddown. Hence, I will let him take a bite then start school work at 6pm. Dinner at 730pm smaller portion so he can finish faster and also lesser risk of indigestion. 8-9pm revision assuming homework done and 9pm prepare for bed.
