Hi, need help here. My gal has a problem that she kept forgetting stuff that was taught. We have sent her to courses like Mind Edge but didnt help much. The other problem isMaths. She merely memorised steps to solution but fail to understand the concepts. hence mostly end up wrong.


Will ginko helps?Any memory booster to advise? PSLE approaching....really need advise.

You can use Mind maps to summerise the stuff she has been taught in school.
For Maths you should go through with her some problems.Ask her to understand the problem.It is not nesscary to memorise the problems.The key is to use the concepts learnt to solve the questions.One way is to ask your child of what is the problem in the question.Then,use the mind maps to find the concept.

Is it like psle booklet, where there are grouped according to topics? Or the papers in actual psle format?

For this set of PSLE 2008 - 2012 , are the answers given 100% correct ?As in similar to MOE answers? Especially those in multiple choice like Science Subjects.

Hi, my son’s Chinese home tutor stopped suddenly due to family commitments. During the 3 months under her tutoring, he has improved from failing to 60+ grades. So I’m scrambling to find another tutor ASAP as he’s sitting for PSLE this year. Any recommendations are very much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, I am working full time but planning to take some regular PM leaves before and during the BIG days (PSLE of course!) to "supervise"/support my DS’s revision. Any advice from experienced mums when should we start, before SA1 or start in June? When are the prelims and when should we start revising?

One is EPH and another one SAP. I wont grab it at this moment because still not so sure the school will use which publisher. After all, the school will sure inform the students to buy it and to be done during lesson.[/quote]

I saw them at Popular Junction 8.
EPH ones have answers but SAP publisher sells the answers separately.
No need to get them bcos the school will do mass ordering for the students. You should be receiving a form soon...amt will be deducted via edusave.
