        Same here zarahsmom.

Sometimes the thought of being a stay hme mum is so tempting. to welcome them home after school.
i also hv the same question as bobianah on well being run. If its really true, i will need more t shirt than the white shirt.

My gal brought home the spelling list today. But did not indicate when does the spelling start. Anyone know about it?

My gal said that she needs to wear pe attire for mon, wed n fri.

*sigh* Dun understand why her Chinese teacher is not keeping the activity book & file for them. My gal has been bringing to & fro school everyday. :scratchhead:

Wrong calculation on the uniforms. Bought more white shirts than PE attires. Plan to get 1 more PE set.

xrisgoh - So fast already have spelling list? R's teacher hasn't give yet. I am happy about it. Haha, me lazy mummy.

              Jush,

yes, i try to imagine her coming home and welcoming her from school bus (or even fetch her from school) and ask her what she did… sigh!.. at least I get to call her around 2pm

I also bought 3 white shirts and 2 colored shirts only… i thought of buying additional shirts from bookshop but there was a notice saying they do not sell uniforms until feb 2013…

dd (1 faith) also have to wear yellow shirt 4x per week …on mon, tues, thurs and friday… which means she only gets to wear white shirt on wednesday…

i find that she looks neater and tidier when wearing white shirt… oh well!

I'm in the same situation...looking at timetable, looks like 4 out of 5 days my dd wears t-shirt. I bought 3 white shirts too and while it is good to have physical activities spread throughout the week, they should have told us so that we can buy more t-shirts and fewer white blouses. 😞 The school should also tell us what is WBR and what attire it is.
If the teacher does not reply my note today I will call/email them tomorrow.

My gal also still has not received any spelling list yet. I realise, actually, the FTs handle the classes quite differently across the 6 P1 classes…

                  lio01,
luckily for my gal, the teacher collected all the files…even the big art file and the social studies file. in fact, in the 1st round, i did not pack these 2 files. Only the subject colored files. My gal came back and say have to bring them to school.

btw to all mummies, today (Tues) my gal has WBR/HE class…i dressed her up in PE attire…when she came home, i asked her what they did…basically, no need for PE attire. they were seated in their seats and it was a normal classroom session…so not too sure what exactly is needed on-going. Bobianah, keep us updated after you call the school ok…

bobianah, previously, i also left a note in the handbook for the FT, clarifying some thing else…also no response…if i am not wrong, the teacher does not look at the handbook at all even though there is a "parent/teacher communication" column.

                    Parents,

was checking my emails and i received an email from my gal’s FT (1 CHarity). In the email, she mentioned about the PE attire. Cut and paste as follows. Tuesday is the day of WBR/HE.

Things to take note on a weekly basis
                    1. Wear PE T-shirt and shorts with her pinafore to school on every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (for PAL & PE lessons).
                    2. Wear PE T-shirt and shorts with her pinafore to school on Tuesdays on even weeks (please refer to the Student Handbook for the terms and weeks of the school).

                    Hope this helps.

In case anyone wondering why i have such a \"manly\" nick, i am actually using my husband account to post. 😄

zarahsmom - thanks for sharing on the availability date of the PE attires. Initial intention is to buy this week.

Update on MT - The chinese teacher finally collected the activity bk but not sure why the colored file is still not.*puzzled*

                        Hi Jush,

I think the FT does check their handbooks. But mayb not on daily basis? I know coz I already 开张 on the handbook on 2nd day of school.

Another way is to tell ur gal to show the teacher your message.
