Happy New Year to you too! For JH1 boarding, it should last about 7-8 weeks and it starts at the end of the September holidays.

can anyone advise me on the AEP programme? . I understand it is a 4yrs course which start from Yr 3 to yr 6 and they take ā€˜A’ level art. NJC start the AEP programme for JH1 students this year that means the students start 2 years earlier so they can choose to drop off before the contractual year?

I only know it doesn't affect the choice of subjects at Year 3. It may or may not clash with some of the accelerated programmes that are possibly held after usual curriculum time, that's all.

My worries now is my dd take art as a hobby, she just like to draw. If Art turns up to be an exam subject it may become pressure to her, if she wants to give up after JH1 will she be allow to do so?

                    dear phankao,

My dd was given a consent form to sign by parent after the selection test.
No further info was given. But was told during the s1 reporting day that the AEP is subsidy by MOE no drop out is allow.

It takes approximately 25 mins from NJC to Moelc Newton. 13 stops later alight at Scott Road, environment building.
