      Sweet Joy:
Clearing stuffs away requires not just physical energy; it requires mental energy too. I am also clearing away stuffs in my home right now. Happy decluttering to all who are clearing their stuffs!

Ya boi! It sure requires mental energy, but even more mental energy is needed when you revamp/restructure something. Eg changing storage arrangemnt. Recently did up my kid's book and play area. :slapshead: big headache. Bought all the shelves and did up myself. Then need to think what to put where etc. Took me a lot of time. Now, almost done. :please:

Cleared out two big bags of clothes two weeks ago. Then sorted out a bag of books and toys to be given away. Haven't started on cleaning up.... I think of the windows, I :faint:

You are really hardworking :salute: ...after I have changed and washed the curtains, I think I am quite done.

Since having a kid, the 6 weeks prior to cny is always a nightmare for me. On top of working full time, caring for the kid and regular household chores, still have dozens of things to do - buy cny decor, new plants, outstanding repair work, special/adhoc household chores (eg repainting or new wallpaper if needed? Wipe the lamp shades, decluttering, clear store etc). Cleaning the windows… Can die… But wait, cannot die - who’s going to do all these if I die?

I need to buy rice, sugar, eggs...forget bout CNY decor, have to put up and take down again. Then buy more chicken and pork to freeze or else no food to eat during the first week...though supermarkets are open, there isn't anything to sell. Clean windows? No way. Oh yes, wash new clothes and bed sheet.

do U ladies use gadgets like robots to help with the cleaning?

It can at least lessen the burden, similar to your washing machine, dryer etc.

That stupid Irobot which hubby bought is now sitting one corner collecting dust...hubby insisted buying it earlier...only worked very well for ONE year and now it is dead after 10 min despite changing to new battery.
He even wanted to get scooba...I told him NO WAY. Then he bought that hanging type of iron. Again it is not practical.

Surprise to hear that Irobot had such issue with the battery or operation.
Had a good impression of it, though I didn't buy it as it was more costly.

I had the 4-in-1 robot, which was cheaper, and so far, it was still functioning ok for me.

At least, it can do the basic sweeping and mopping, and when I need a more thorough job, then had to diy.

The one good buy he made was the Philips Air fryer…no need to use oil…fries not that nice but healthier. But I hardly use it. The household stuff I use frequently is the Karcher vacuum cleaner, convention steamer (to steam rice) and my 2 washing machines.

I bought this Korean made pan…like Happy Call but it can be detached for ease of wash.
